WHO WE ARE
Not Dressing Up is a contemporary Indian label made for real life. It is considered in everything it creates, and made for the way a woman actually lives, from her every day to the days' worth dressing for. She dresses for herself, and for no one else.

NOT DRESSING UP
OUR CRAFT
We begin with cloth. Every fabric is chosen for how it falls, how it breathes, and how it softens with wear. Colour is chosen with the same care, always intentional, whether quiet or rich. We design slowly, because clothing meant to be lived in has to earn its place.
IN THE DETAILS
Our work shows in the parts that are easy to miss. A clean seam, a considered hem, handwork done properly whether or not anyone notices. This is where the care lives, and where it stays.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
The truest luxury is self-possession. Knowing who you are and having nothing to prove. Style, at its best, is unforced.
THE DESIGNER
Not Dressing Up is the work of Swwati Narula. Fifteen years in design, much of it in couture, dressing women for the moments they longed to remember. That same attention now lives in NDU, in the clothes a woman reaches for every day, and the ones she saves for something.
